Community Care Package

This Wednesday, April 15th, cosmetologists who live or work in Waterford, New London, or East Lyme can enjoy dinner on us! We’ve partnered with Filomena’s Restaurant to make 100 Community Care Packages available to those who work in cosmetology. The package includes a sausage and peppers meal for 3-4 people and cold adult beverage. 

Cosmetologists who are interested in receiving one of these packages, please email filomenas@sbcglobal.net. The first 100 to email will be notified and can pick up their meals curbside between 4-6:00 pm on April 15th.

Partnering Up with Filomena’s Restaurant

As a local, family-run business, Filomena’s Restaurant is feeling the effects of the current situation themselves. Yet, they continue to reach out and support others. In the past few weeks, they have innovated and pivoted to meet the needs of the community. They remain open for take-out, offer family-sized platters, and ready-to-cook meal kits.

In addition, Filomena’s recently distributed 250 ham dinners to local hospital employees, and continues to spread positivity during uncertain times.

As a small business, we feel fortunate to be able to continue our work after some adjustments for everyone’s health and safety. Watching communities lift each other up is inspiring, reminding us why we do what we do. We’re proud to partner with a family-run business to support cosmetologists in our community!
